The Cabins,
are rustic, clean, accommodating. The cabins date back to the 1940's when ''dude ranches'' and the like were popular. They have obviously been updated since. Some cabins have a/c. Frankly, the dry desert wind is enough to keep most cool at night. There are a total of four cabins on the property. The largest is shown to the right. it has two beds in the screened porch area and two more beds inside. All cabins are equipped with showers and and kitchen. There are plenty of grills around to keep ''someone'' out of the kitchen.
The River,
is why we live here and why the Indians stayed here 500 years ago. The spring fed waters are clear and cool. The Indian legend says that the river had healing powers. After a few days swimming, kayaking, fishing or just relaxing on the bank, you may come to believe the indians were 100% correct.
South Llano River
This view is looking south from the river directly behind our property. While it looks deep, it's actually only about ten feet deep at the most. Next to the bank it ranges around four feet so even the most timid swimmer will be comfortable. The bottom is rock and varies in depth. This pool is located between two sets of rapids which makes it ideal to practice your kayaking or fishing or swimming or.................
